Finding Solutions

In my research this week I came across an interesting compilation of solutions to our growing Childhood Obesity Epidemic. Some suggestions are obvious "eat more fruit and vegetables", but others are helpful guidelines towards guiding your children (or students) to healthier ways of living. Here's the article ---->KET Kids' Health Specials Childhood Obesity Prevention: Steps Toward Solutions Check it out.

Your research is interesting to follow. They is so many causes of childhood obesity and until parents realize this is a real threat to their health now and in the future the question is what will parents do to slow down this slow killer.
I liked the video's and played around long enough until I figured it out and posted some on my site. Thanks for making me alert to whats out there for enhancing the blog.

Alicyn,

Your site is very nice and fun to visit. It shows your hard work. The information you put about child obesity is very relevant. Yesterday, when I visited your blog, I was amazed by the TV exercises. I said to myself, "How she did that?" I clicked on the add element hyperlink, and I saw the new TV bar where I put my title. Now I have that cool fashion show on my site.

Thank you Alicyn

Hi Alicyn,
This site is great. I love the TV section. I am doing a paper on food labels and many of the articles I have found refer to childhood obesity. I wasn’t aware that it is such a growing issue in the US. I look forward to checking back at all your great progress.

It is good to see that more and more information is getting out to the general public to help everyone have a better understanding of what they need to know.

Unfortunately - even when parents think they are buying healthy - they are not. Manufacturers use the words "natural" "whole grain" etc., to lull us into a false sense of the products healthfulness .
